Plasma Cutter Upgrades

I’ve got a Langmuir Crossfire Pro in my shop:

CrossFire PRO CNC Plasma | Langmuir Systems

From what little I’ve used it, it’s a fantastic prosumer grade plasma system. I got it set up, ran a few jobs, and then promptly got busy with other projects. Unfortunately, this meant that when I got back around to running it again, almost all of the solution in my water table had evaporated. Which normally wouldn’t be a huge deal, but the reasonably expensive anti-rust additive I use in the water (Plasma Quench) had evaporated along with it.

Now I’ve got an awesome little setup with a 15gal storage tank and a $15 bilge pump that lets me drain the solution to the tank when I’m taking a break from running jobs, and easily pump it back up when I’m ready to get back to work.

SHOPPING LIST:

The following items from Amazon:

This 3D printed bracket I designed to hold the bilge hose in place on the water table:

Some kind of switch (light switch, etc) and a 12V ~3A power supply to power the pump. Alternatively, you can run this off of a battery and simply provide power when you need it to pump. I just wanted a more contained solution.
